Mugabe: One More Term?

null

On Saturday, voters will be going out to vote for the new president of the southern African nation.

After 30 years of ruling Zimbabwe, President Robert Mugabe is about to fight in his toughest election yet. He’s going up against two candidates who has a good chance of winning.

The reason is not that the other candidates are extremely good, but that Mugabe’s regime seems to be going under. A prime example is the new $10 million bill. It basically shows the high inflation rate of the once-proud country . Another is the land redistribution policies affected the food distribution and agricultural exportation to spiral out of control.

Oppositions report that Mugabe will be rigging the votes. There were accusations saying that 9 million ballots were being printed for 5.7 million registered voters. No luck for international reporters or volunteers covering the event as the government denied it all.
